Barren County High School to celebrate opening of new indoor golf facility

GLASGOW, Ky. — Barren County Schools is officially celebrating the opening of the new Barren County High School Indoor Golf Facility on Friday, May 15.
According to the district, a ribbon cutting is taking place at 11 a.m. Friday to mark the occasion.
The community is invited to attend the event, according to Barren County Schools, which will include a light meal and the opportunity to tour the new 1,000-square-foot facility designed to support student-athletes in the BCHS and BCMS golf programs.
According to the district, the new indoor practice facility includes a 255-inch simulator screen, 4K resolution technology, an indoor putting station and year-round practice and training opportunities.
The facility will officially open to middle and high school golf team members for the 2026 season, the district says.
District and school leaders, coaches, student-athletes and supporters will be on hand to celebrate the investment in student opportunities and athletic development.
