Barren County High School named National Beta School of Merit

GLASGOW, Ky. – Barren County High School is a 2024-25 National Beta School of Merit.
The district says the school earned this recognition by offering National Beta to all eligible grades on its campus.
Barren County Schools the National Beta School of Merit award is given to honor a club’s dedication and commitment to academic excellence. To achieve this, a school must include members from all eligible grade levels in its Beta club.
In a letter to the school, CEO Bobby Hart stated, “Thank you for your continued support of National Beta and commitment to developing future leaders!”
BCHS principal Letitia Hughes said, “BETA provides opportunities for our students to serve their community, develop their skills and talents, and create connections that last a lifetime. We are incredibly proud of our sponsors and Beta members for achieving this recognition.”
