Barren County Fair underway this week at Temple Hill Lions Club fairgrounds

BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – The Barren County Temple Hill Lions Club Fair is underway this week at the Temple Hill Lions Club fairgrounds.

The fair also features multiple food vendors along with rides and game booths.

Jennifer Bailey, the pageant coordinator, said county fairs in the state are becoming scarce but the Barren County Fair has been growing and actually is nearly outgrowing the fairgrounds.

Multiple events going on throughout the fair include the Miss Barron County pageant, a truck and tractor pull, a barbecue contest and more.

Bailey said Tuesday night was one of their biggest opening nights ever.
