Barren County designates June as Dairy Month

CAVE CITY, Ky. — Barren County Judge/Executive Michael Hale announced Tuesday that on June 11 at 11 a.m. he will sign a proclamation designating June as Dairy Month in Barren County.  The signing will be at Legacy Dairy, 2896 Goodnight Hiseville Road in Cave City. This is a local dairy farm owned and operated by Doug and Genelle Jones. The Joneses have recently started selling their milk commercially, and it can be found in area grocery stores. The public is encouraged to attend.
