Barren County Contractor’s Association is officially up and running
BARREN COUNTY, Ky. — The Barren County Contractors Association is officially up and running, giving residents a local hub to connect with dozens of contractors without leaving the county.
Organizers say the group is helping provide labor and services the community previously had to look outside the county to find, but the organization didn’t start out this way.
Jamie Bewley, Barren County judge-executive, said, “It started as a nonprofit and then created membership. We’ve got 60 members now, and we have a board, training opportunities, and networking. So, you know, it’s a very small investment for a big return.”
You don’t have to be a Barren County resident to join the association. For more information, visit their website.
