Barren County Cleanup Week starts late March

The Cleanup Week service is free to all Barren County residents.

The following locations and dates will be available for Barren County Cleanup Week from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during the week of March 28 through April 1:

–  Hiseville, Mill Street on Monday, March 28

–  Park City, Park City Fire Department on Tuesday, March 29

–  Cave City Volunteer Fire Department on Tuesday, March 29

–  East Barren Volunteer Fire Department on Wednesday, March 30

–  Austin Tracy Volunteer Fire Department on Thursday, March 31

–  Haywood Volunteer Fire Department on Thursday, March 31

–  Temple Hill Fairgrounds on Friday, April 1

–  South Barren Volunteer Fire Department (Steam Mill Road) on Friday, April 1

Large items that will be accepted include appliances, couches, dressers, mattresses and recliners. Small items that will not be accepted include tires, batteries, liquids, paint, oil and pesticides.

All items must be bagged or boxed, and loose items will not be accepted. Due to limited contact, you must be able to unload your own trash into dumpsters.
