BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Families can now sign up for this summer’s Barren County Reads and Feeds bulk meal program.

According to Barren County Schools, the district is offering free seven-day meal kits for all children 18 years old and under this summer.

Families can click here to register.

Each kit will include seven breakfasts and seven lunches that are pre-packaged and easy to make.

According to the district website, one pickup will occur per week on Wednesdays. The next pickup date is June 4. One meal kit will be given per child, who must be listed on the form.

Officials say this is a first come, first served basis, so it is best to register to guarantee meals.

    • Austin Tracy Elementary
    • Hiseville Elementary
    • Park City Elementary
    • Temple Hill Elementary
