Band Together BG benefits local high school safety

This Saturday marked the second annual Band Together BG event.

Kicking off at 5:30 p.m. at La Gala in downtown Bowling Green, locals enjoyed live music by Tyrone Dunn and The Kinfoke, Kyle Frederick and Bad Navigator.

All proceeds from the event benefitted local high school safety.

It was another successful year for Band Together BG, according to David Doran, the vice president of ISTT, one of this year’s sponsors

"One of the secrets of Bowling Green is that everyone is so involved in Bowling Green and its success. So, any time we can be a part of it, we’d like to," Doran said.
