Baby powder brand issues recall over asbestos concerns

(CNN) – Parents should be aware of a major recall concerning a certain brand of baby powder.
According to the Food and Drug Administration, Dynarex Corporation has recalled its Dynacare Baby Powder due to the possible risk of asbestos.
The company says 62 cases of 14-ounce plastic bottles with item number 4875 has the potential to be contaminated.
The product was sent to distributors on or after March 11 of this year and was packaged 24 bottles to a case.
The baby powder was delivered to 12 states, including Kentucky, and sold online on Amazon.
The expiration date is Dec. 28, 2026.
You’re advised to stop using the product and return it for a full refund.
So far, no illnesses have been reported.
