Baby Boom: A third of Dry Ridge school’s staff expecting

DRY RIDGE, Ky. (WKRC) – There’s a baby boom at a northern Kentucky elementary school. A dozen new additions are on the way as a third of the school’s staff is expecting. Haley Darnell is a fifth-grade teacher at Sherman Elementary School. She is having a baby girl, but she is not the only one. It’s like there’s something in the water. “We always tell people bring bottled water; don’t drink the sink water,” said Darnell. Kindergarten teacher Jaclyn Jones is due with a girl in June.
