Aviation Heritage Park opens signups for camps
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Aviation Heritage Park is bringing back some fun camps for the Spring and Summer to continue inspiring young minds.
Aviation Heritage Park is bringing back multiple camps for 3rd through 6th graders, and focuses on robotics, drones, aviation, and even some coding. In the camps, they will build robots, help program these robots and drones and test their skills against each other in group competitions.
All of this so that when they head home, their curiosity about STEM subjects will continue.
“One thing that parents can expect when they get home is the kids are going to want to keep doing this. And that’s really kind of what we’re hoping, not necessarily that they’ll come back here and do it. Again, although. I’m all for that. But that it will stimulate. Their imaginations and build their confidence where they start thinking about robots. beyond what they learn here” said Bob Bubnis, Executive Director of the Aviation Heritage Park.
