Young mental health hospitalizations is rising

The number of children and young people being hospitalized for mental health issues is rising. A study in England found between 2012 and 2022, there was a 65 percent rise in 5 to 18-year-olds being admitted to hospitals due to mental health issues, including anxiety and eating disorders. Women are more likely to develop “Long Covid”

  Women are significantly more likely than men to develop long covid. A study published in JAMA Network Open showed women over 40 are as much as 6 to 10 percent more likely to develop the condition, though the reasons why aren’t known.
