Australia native brings his winning Tri-Five Chevy to Nationals

People from literally all over the world have united at one location.

To rev up their engines and display their pride and joys.

For one man who traveled thousands of miles to do so, it’s more than sharing his beauty with our community.

Attending the Nationals for him is also about the friendships he makes along the way.

Today marks the beginning of the Danchuk Tri-Five Nationals at Beech Bend Raceway Park.

From today until tomorrow, you can see the largest gathering of Tri-Five Chevrolets in the nation.

During this celebration of Tri-Five Chevrolets, there will be several events taking place.

A huge swap meet, drag racing, autocross and gasser gathering, and that’s for only 20 dollars per day.

This is the fourth annual celebration.

Mark Anthony from Brisbane, Australia brought his genuine 1955 Chevy 4-door 2-10 sedan.

He purchased it in 2005 from an old school hot rodder in Sydney, Australia.

After a 5-year off the frame rebuild of the car, he’s brought the final result to the Nationals.

Anthony hopes those who see it indulge in the splendor it offers.

One other cool note about Anthony’s Chevy is that it doesn’t just look like a winner, but it is one.

His Chevy has actually won the Australian Nationals.

This is something he’s shared with the new friends he’s made here in Bowling Green.

As well as some of the Australian slang.
