Attorney General candidate visits WKU

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – On Monday night, the WKU Young Republicans had the chance to hear from a candidate looking to win the Attorney General race in Kentucky.

Wil Schroder, a Republican candidate, made a visit to WKU, giving the club a chance to meet him in person.

Current Kentucky Attorney General Andy Beshear is running for governor this upcoming election, meaning he will not be seeking re-election.

According to a release, Schroder is a lifelong Kentuckian and currently serves as a state senator, representing Campbell, Pendleton and Bracken counties.

The primary is set for May 21. Schroder will face fellow Republican Daniel Cameron.
