Applications for WRECC scholarship close soon
WARREN COUNTY – The Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation wants to support its members with scholarships for learning toward higher education.
Founded in 1938, WRECC had the purpose of bringing electricity in rural areas to benefit their community. To give back, high school seniors or upperclassmen members can apply to receive need-based scholarships that range from $500-$5,000.

Students obtain the first half of the award during 2024 Fall enrollment. If students maintain a 2.8 grade point average and submit proof of enrollment, they will be receive the full amount for the following Spring semester.
WRECC is an equal opportunity program and awards are based on available funding. The application opened on April 15 and it must be postmarked by May 28.
