Application denied for TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital to begin ambulance service
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- An application for TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital to start an ambulance service in Warren County has been denied.
An independent hearing officer assigned to hear the case issued the final order.
TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital will not be able to proceed with its proposed ambulance service, according to the final order.
Med Center Health currently operates the only ambulance service in Warren County.
TriStar submitted the application to begin an ambulance service after an emergency regulation cited a public health crisis in Warren County due to a lack of ambulance service.
Med Center Health then filed a lawsuit in October against the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services to stop the emergency regulation.
