Apple juice sold at Aldi, Walgreens stores part of expanded recall

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A recall affecting select apple juice in multiple states has been expanded.

According to a release by Aldi Inc., the store is recalling Nature’s Nectar 100% Apple Juice sold in some Aldi stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

This follows a recall last month for Great Value brand apple juice sold in 25 states, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia for potential elevated arsenic levels.

Aldi says the recall is out of an abundance of caution.

Nice! 100% Apple Juice 64-ounce bottles with a best by date of March 25, 2025 sold in stores located in Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin are also recalled, according to the FDA.

Clover Valley 100% apple juice is also recalled in South Carolina, Georgia, Ohio, Kentucky, Florida, Indiana and New York. It has a best by date of March 27, 2025.

Additional companies under the recall include Solevita, Wellsley Farms, Weis, Market Basket, Urban Meadow, according to information posted to the FDA’s website.
