Annual Veterans Day Parade held in Bowling Green
Americans honored veterans and active military personnel over the weekend. On Saturday in Bowling Green, the annual Veterans Day Parade was held.
People lined the streets of downtown Bowling Green to watch the parade and show support to the men and women who serve the country.
The parade started its route at Sixth and College Streets and ended at the Veterans Memorial area on the Warren County Courthouse lawn.
Veterans Day is recognized every year on Nov. 11 to symbolize the end of World War one.
Spectators say every veteran needs recognition, for putting their lives on the line to protect the country.
