Annual trunk or treat event welcomes thousands to fairgrounds

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – On Saturday, Guarantee Pest Control hosted its annual Disney Trunk or Treat at the SoKY Fairgrounds.

Thousands of people were treated to activities and candy from local businesses and organizations.

Leslee Harris, of long-time event sponsor Graves Gilbert Clinic, says events like the trunk or treat show the strength of the community during the holiday season.

“For Guarantee Pest Control to put this on for the other members and companies in the community to be able to give back. Bowling Green in whole has a really big participation when it comes to giving back. To be able to volunteer it just makes my heart warm. I just love it,” said Harris.

Planners for the event estimate that up to 5,000 people visited this year’s event and received a goodie bag plus candy from each business.
