Annual Kentucky Fruit and Vegetable Conference to take place in Bowling Green next week

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – On Jan. 12 and 13, over 80 guest speakers and 70 vendors will be visiting Bowling Green for the 2026 Kentucky Fruit and Vegetable Conference.

Specialty crop and produce growers from all over the Commonwealth will gather for both days to connect, network and grow their businesses.

The event will take place at the Holiday Inn Sloan Convention Center and have numerous guest speakers from both in state and out of state.

This event not only brings the local community together, but the entire state as well and showcases the importance that the horticulture industry has in Kentucky.

“This past year, Kentucky’s specialty crop receipts exceeded tobacco in Kentucky. And so that was, you know, really exciting for us to see the real growth in specialty crop production,” said Cindy Finneseth, assistant professor of community horticulture at the University of Kentucky.

Pre conference sessions will begin Sunday, Jan. 11. Pre-registration is also available online. If interested, visit https://kentuckyhorticulturecouncil.ticketspice.com/2026kyfvattendee for details.
