Annual event raises funds in memory of local athlete

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A brownie eating competition and a duck derby are just a few of the fun things that took place at the annual Duncan Hines Festival this weekend.

Chaney’s Dairy Barn partnered with the Bowling Green Junior Woman’s Club to host the festival.

The event featured live music, a vendors market with arts and crafts and balloon animals.

Each year the festival is sponsored by the Bowling Green Junior Woman’s Club. This year, the money raised will go be going to Playing for Mason.
