Annual Dance Big Red generates $34,000 for Norton Children’s Hospital

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The annual Dance Big Red event last week generated $34,000 for Norton Children’s Hospital.

The money will be used for new diagnostic services at the hospital’s outpatient center in Bowling Green.

The Western Kentucky University student-led fundraising event utilized an online platform this year due to the coronavirus outbreak. The virtual event allowed the fundraiser to continue, as students, sponsors, families and community members practiced social distancing.

Since the inaugural event six years ago, the event has raised nearly $300,000 for Norton Children’s Hospital.
