Amazon Smile helps local non-profits

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – This year more than ever, non-profits are needing the community’s help financially, and there’s a way to help all while Christmas shopping.

Amazon Smile gives shoppers a chance to give back to any non-profits of their choice, including a list of organizations in Bowling Green. The Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society and the Public Theatre of Kentucky are two examples.

Recently, the Humane Society received over $600 in donations through Amazon Smile.

Representatives from both the Public Theatre of Kentucky and the BGWC Humane society said all donations can go a long way.

Amazon Smile has generated $236 million from everyday purchases to charities worldwide.
