Amazing Angels, Inc. aides families with infant loss
One of the toughest moments anyone can endure is loss.
And for parents, losing a child can be even harder.
One local organization is helping families get through those difficult moments.
A local mother and her husband lost their twin daughters.
And because no parent is prepared for that moment, they struggled in many ways.
But through their organization, they’ve become "amazing angels" for families experiencing the same tragic losses.
Their non-profit organization, or passion project, is also called Amazing Angels, Inc.
It was founded by Ericka and her husband Kevin in memory of their identical twin daughters, Abigail and Alison.
Their mission is to provide relief to families impacted by infant loss in all 10 counties in the Barren River area.
Amazing Angels receives donations and hosts an annual stand-up comedy event "Humor Heals that features a live auction.
The proceeds from both opportunities help reduce the financial stress on families so they can focus on healing.
Amazing Angels aides with headstones, urns, cremation jewelry and more.
Ericka church, Co-founder of Amazing Angels, says this organization and calling has helped heal her scars.
Knowing she’s helping others like her.
Humor Heals will be September 15th this year from 7-10 pm at Johnetta’s Pub.
David Dyer is this year’s headline.
