WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Alvaton Fire Department is entering a new chapter of leadership next month.
The department may sound familiar since it serves a district of Warren County.
According to the Warren County Fire Department System’s social media post on Thursday, Alvaton Fire Department chief Mike Smith is handing the reigns over in July to chief-elect Mason Hamilton.
The post further thanks Smith for leading the department, “whose leadership has guided Company 20 with strength and vision.”
Currently, Alvaton Fire Department operates out of four firehouses in the district, according to officials.
