Allen County search warrant leads to arrest and seizure of multiple firearms and drugs

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky.- The Barren River Drug Task Force seized multiple firearms and drugs when detectives executed a search warrant on a residence in Scottsville Monday morning.

According to a news release from the task force, the search warrant was executed at 84 Carver Drive.

Inside the residence, authorities said they located approximately 10 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, suspected marijuana, digital scales, drug paraphernalia and multiple firearms.

Dustin Richards, 39, was arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance-methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Authorities said all charged were enhanced due to the presence of firearms.

Richards was lodged in the Allen County Detention Center.
