Allen County man accused of distributing imagery of child sexual abuse

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – Following an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children Investigation, the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested an Allen County man on accusations that he distributed imagery depicting child sexual abuse.

James K. Weedman II, 36, is charged with 15 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor first offense and three counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor first offense, according to a release from Kentucky State Police.

Police made the arrest following the execution of a search warrant at a home in Scottsville Tuesday where they said they found equipment used to facilitate the possession and distribution, according to the release.

Weedman is being held in the Allen County Detention Center.
