All WKU campuses closed, classes canceled Wednesday, Jan. 28 due to weather

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Due to ongoing winter weather conditions, all Western Kentucky University campuses will be closed, and classes will be canceled Wednesday, Jan. 28.
WKU says conditions on campus and throughout the region remain hazardous.
According to the university, many walkways, parking lots and other surfaces are extremely slick, and there is a significant risk of falling tree limbs due to ice accumulation.
If you must be on campus, the community is encouraged to use extreme caution and limit outdoor movement as much as possible.
Facilities and grounds crews will continue monitoring conditions and addressing priority areas.
The university asks to prioritize safety and avoid unnecessary travel to campus.
