Air Methods of Kentucky to host Battle of the Bases Blood Drive

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Air Methods of Kentucky is hosting a Battle of the Bases blood drive across the commonwealth.

It’s a bit of friendly competition among the six bases that has led to more than 300 donations since 2021.

With nearly 170 just this year alone, Air Methods is potentially saving more than 500 lives in the process.

This blood helps the American Red Cross keep a strong supply at blood banks and in aircraft.
