Air Methods Kentucky 8 to celebrate 25 years of care

GLASGOW, Ky. – Next month, you can celebrate local heroes that take to the skies in critical emergency situations.

On June 10, Air Methods Kentucky 8 is celebrating its 25th anniversary of providing life-saving care.

The public is invited to meet the crew and see the aircraft, along with the equipment. The event begins at 3 p.m. at Kentucky 8 Base at 102 Airport Road in Glasgow.

In addition, Air Methods says its skilled crew will be teaching a free CPR class on site at 3:30 p.m.

The public is invited to bring friends and neighbors to recognize those who have served the Glasgow community, south-central Kentucky and beyond.
