After The Initiation into a Sorority, Fraternity, or secret society in Kentucky and Beyond

BOWLING GREEN, KY.- A new exhibit is open at Western Kentucky University, it includes professors and students collaborating to spread knowledge.

“After the Initiation: Secret Societies, Fraternities and Sororities in Kentucky and Beyond” sheds light on some information that isn’t normally shared when it comes to organizations. This exhibit gives insight into the rituals and gives students who may not understand how these organizations function a new perspective.

Kate Joyce, a WKU student says, “I hope people get to gain a different opinion on sororities and Greek life because I feel like they can have a negative connotation, and learning about the history and what they actually strive for and promote, I think would change people’s opinions. ”

This exhibit is open to the public and anyone is welcome to visit the exhibit to learn about history and rituals.
