A new South Green Elementary to come soon

GLASGOW Ky.-A local school district is looking to build a new version of a current elementary school.

South Green is an elementary school in the Glasgow Independent School District. A South Green Elementary currently exists, but a new one will be coming soon.

The new South Green Elementary will feature two stories, outdoor learning space and the use of natural light to enhance the learning experience. The current building will be used as part of the Glasgow Preschool Academy.

South Green principal BobbiSue Holmes said she can’t wait to step into this new environment with her staff and students.

A completion date is not yet confirmed. It will be decided by the Kentucky department of education.
