A new restaurant aims to offer community hub in Cave City

CAVE CITY, Ky. – A new local spot is cooking up something good.

POURter’s Pub and Kitchen welcomed its second location to Cave City. The kitchen was first established in Frankfort.

The restaurant name came from the family name, “Porter.” The owner’s father, son and himself all share the same middle name.

The menu features classics and some entrees named after specific landmarks in the area.

POURter’s focuses good eats with a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Its mission is to “pour” into others and the community.

Co-owner Tiffany Seppenfield says when choosing a second location, Cave City was a “friendly and welcoming.” She says “everyone has been so inviting.”

Ashely Reed, general manager, says she moved here to help run the new location. Reed expresses Cave City was an “instant home and community.”

POURter’s is excited to host their official opening week next week. Owners say they are also looking forward to participate in community events and fundraisers.
