A Bowling Green group is helping transport people to and from vaccination sites

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A local group is working to give people rides to get vaccinated for free in the area.

Blake Cleary, the founder of COVID vaccine transport, is working with the Bowling Green Human Rights Commission to provide rides from people’s homes to vaccine sites and back.

This is an initiative he started just two weeks ago after realizing some people may need help with transportation.

COVID Vaccine Transport is willing to travel anywhere within 30 minutes of Bowling Green vaccine sites to help out.

The rides are sponsored by local businesses and groups.

So far, COVID Vaccine Transport has helped 14 people get rides to a site.

If you need a ride, you can call the Bowling Green Human Rights Commission at 270-782-7900 or email cvaccinetransport@gmail.com to sign up.
