19-year-old from Bowling Green accused of raping 13-year-old girl

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A 19-year-old from Bowling Green is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl.

Darwin Perez is charged with first-degree rape.

According to Bowling Green police, Perez confessed to having intercourse with the 13-year-old, but claimed it was all consensual.

Police said Perez provided the girl with beer and marijuana prior to the incident.

According to an arrest citation, the victim said Perez forced her to have sex and in the process, covered her mouth and ripped off her pants.

Perez is lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
