UPDATE: Man killed in lawnmower accident identified

UPDATE: The man killed in a lawnmower accident in Bowling Green on Tuesday morning has been identified as Dylan T. Graves of Franklin, KY. He was 21 years old.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – There is a confirmed fatality as a result of a lawnmower accident in Bowling Green Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred around 11:20 a.m. in a field next to an apartment complex in the 1700 block of Patrick Way.

Police have not yet released the victim’s name.

“Mowing is something that, across America, everybody is involved in,” said Ronnie Ward, spokesman with the Bowling Green Police Department. “You just don’t really think about something like this happening. This is a tragic, tragic accident.”

Police say it appears the man worked for a landscaping company.
