Warren East High School holds College and Career Fair for students
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Students from Warren East High School took a break from classes to learn about career opportunities and the role education plays in reaching their goals during the college and career fair.
Starting at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, all four grade levels at Warren East got to participate in operation preparation college and career day by walking through the college and career fair.
The fair included local businesses such as PJ’s Cosmetology School, law enforcement agencies, Southern Kentucky Community and Technical College and several Western Kentucky University departments.
During the college and career fair, students were able to network and learn more about potential career paths they’d like to pursue.
Students like Dontavius Gaines feels education plays a key role in him becoming a lawyer.
Others like Lakelani Joseph and Victor Hicks hope to inspire their peers to take control of their futures and be positive examples in the community.
WNKY-TV was proud to be one of the many tables at the college and career fair.
