Nation’s first and only traveling water circus performs in Bowling Green
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cirque Italia Water Circus came alive before Bowling Green’s eyes for the first time this season.
The first and only traveling water circus performs in the city from Thursday night through Sunday night.
It had acrobatics, spinning, juggling, and every talent thinkable under the strobe lights. The performers were shrouded with a curtain of water – 35,000 gallons of water that their stage holds, to be exact.
The Silver Circus narrative follows Rafinha the clown on his adventures to find buried treasure. As we follow Rafinha through his pirate-filled passage, we’re encountered with danger in amazement at every turn. Feats almost too grand for the human eye.
The animal free show is all age friendly. Ticket prices, ranging with age, price from free to $40.
Hector Pazaran is a crossbow baster and Chinese ball extraordinaire – a feature act in the Water Circus.
Pazaran said, “You’re going to see clowns, jugglers, aerialists, sword fighters, crossbows. During the whole show you’re going to be at the edge of your seat. I just basically shoot arrows. I do this with my wife. Well she’s holding balloons in her mouth, her hands, so she’s a little crazy also.”
Also, the lovely pirate and mermaid acrobat, Morgaine Rosenthal would love for crowds to come see her act.
“We have everything from aerialists to acrobats, to jugglers, to contortionists. Fun for the whole family,” said Rosenthal.
The show runs all the way through Halloween night right outside of Greenwood mall, so come enjoy balloons, face painting, and most of all enjoy the swashbuckling Pirates at the Cirque in Italia water circus extraordinaire.
