Man stabbed at motel

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – One man is behind bars and another is recovering from a stab wound after an early Saturday morning altercation at Motel 6.

A motel employee called police Saturday morning about a man inside the lobby bleeding. When Bowling Green police arrived, Tyrecus Crowe limped to a police cruiser as Jameela Cliff held him up, according to Warren Circuit Court records.

Erickson Kasuse was leaning on the front door to the hotel and had blood on his chest, according to his arrest citation.

Crowe told police Kasuse stabbed him in the leg with a wood chisel after the two men got into a verbal altercation involving an allegation that Kasuse struck Cliff, according to his arrest.

Crowe came to the motel after Cliff called him about allegations that Kasuse hit her. Officers spoke with two of four children who were present and said that Kasuse struck their mother, according to his arrest citation.

Kasuse is charged with first-degree assault, first-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree assault domestic violence.

He is lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail. His bond is set at $10,000, according to jail records.
