Two people dead after Monday night vehicle collision in Warren County

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Two people lost their lives Monday night in a vehicle crash in Warren County.

According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred around 9:45 p.m. in the 7600 block of Glasgow Road.

Authorities say, Joshua T. Thomas, 36, of Glasgow, was traveling westbound on Glasgow Road when his car crossed the center line, striking a pickup truck being driven by Christopher D. Gentry, 42, of Smiths Grove, while he was traveling eastbound on Glasgow Road.

Deputies say Gentry’s vehicle left the roadway, coming to a final rest on its side. Thomas’s vehicle remained in the roadway following the initial impact. Both Gentry and Thomas were pronounced deceased at the scene.

Gentry’s passenger, Amy M. Love, 43, of Park City, was taken by helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, where she was listed in critical condition at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The investigation is ongoing.
