New exhibit features Capitol Arts Alliance

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- As the Capitol Arts Theater in Bowling Green comes back to life, a new exhibit is coming that will highlight the historic journey of the venue.

The Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center (SKYPAC) will soon have an exhibit with photographs and other memorabilia honoring the Capitol Arts Alliance.

This exhibit will be available for the public to take in from Aug. 19 through Sept. 25. It will be in the main gallery, and open during normal business hours and public performances.

The opening reception for this gallery will be at 5 pm on the first day.

Arts of Southern Kentucky and the Warren County Public Library invite the public to the following events:

Aug. 19 – Opening Reception for SKyPAC exhibit in Main Gallery at 5 p.m.

Sept. 10 –  Ribbon Cutting/Film Debut/Reception at the Capitol Arts Center at 4 p.m.

Sept. 11 – Orchestra Kentucky’s The Awesome ‘80’s concert (featuring recognition of Capitol Arts Center pioneers) at 7:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased by calling the SKyPAC box office M-F, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at (270) 904-1880.
