Glasgow convicted felon accused of having gun with no visible serial number
GLASGOW, Ky.- A Glasgow man is under arrest after police say they found a handgun in his vehicle with no visible serial number.
According to Glasgow police, officers conducted a traffic stop on East Main Street on Feb. 22. Police say the driver, Adam Williams, 41, was driving on a suspended driver’s license.
When police searched the vehicle, officers say the altered gun was located under the seat.
Williams was arrested and charged with possession of a defaced firearm, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle and DUI on a suspended license.
Williams is lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
