Bowling Green Hot Rods Announce Class of 2021 Hall-of-Fame Ballot

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – On Wednesday, the Bowling Green Hot Rods announced an official ballot for the third-annual Hot Rods Hall of Fame.

The group of candidates consists of 12 former Hot Rods players, including eight returners from the 2019 vote and four first-time nominees.

One of these players will be selected to the 2021 Hall of Fame class and join Matt Moore, Kevin Kiermaier and Blake Snell as members of the Hot Rods Hall of Fame.

The current ballot includes candidates from the 2015 and 2016 seasons, as the returners enter their third year of the five-year eligibility term. The criteria for members is the same: the minimum number of games in a Hot Rods uniform for a person is 50 games for a position player, 10 games for a relief pitcher, five games for a starting pitcher and an entire season as a coach or manager.

Among the ballot members for this year’s Hall of Fame class are former players such as: Tim Beckham, Derek Dietrich, Andrew Toles and Jake Cronenworth.

This season’s vote will be the first to include a vote to the public, so fans can let their voice be heard. To access the voting ballot, click here.
