Russellville man dies in crash

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – A Russellville man was killed Monday after the car he was driving collided with a Ford pick-up truck.

At 2:53 p.m. Monday, Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the U.S. 68 By-pass for a two-vehicle collision.

Timothy Webster, 50, of Russellville, who was traveling east made a left turn to make a U-turn into westbound traffic which placed his vehicle in the path of the truck driven by Derrick Raby, 33, of Bowling Green, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.

The truck struck the driver’s side door aware and Webster was killed at the scene, according to the release. A Passenger is Webster’s car, Tammy Boyd, 59, of Bowling Green, was treated at Logan Memorial Hospital.
