Bowling Green Commission votes in favor of proposed area for food trucks

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- At Tuesday afternoon’s Bowling Green City Commission meeting, city leaders agreed to rezone a tract of land at the intersection of Campbell Lane and Thoroughbred Drive, which will be used to accommodate food trucks.

The item passed by a 3-1 vote. Commissioner Dana Beasley Brown voted no and mayor Bruce Wilkerson recused himself.

Before it becomes official, commissioners will have to vote on the item a second time at their next meeting in two weeks.
