BG Hot Rods charity dinner will raise funds for three area charities

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Hot Rods first inaugural charity dinner and auction is fast approaching.

The event will take place Thursday, February 21st at the National Corvette Museum.

However, the deadline to order tickets for the event ends today at 5 p.m.

The proceeds from the tickets will help raise funds and awareness for three area charities.

Those include Center for Courageous Kids, Playing for Mason and the “Boys to Men” program.

During the 2018 season, the Hot Rods donated over $35,000 back into South Central Kentucky communities.

They also did over 1,000 hours of volunteerism.

Director of sales Kyle Wolz says those efforts and their first inaugural charity dinner fits their mission and culture of giving back.

Tickets are 35 dollars and 100% of the proceeds will be shared equally with the three charities.

The special guest will be Cincinnati Reds Hall of Famer and former NL MVP George Foster.

Tickets to the event include a pre-dinner autograph session and meet and greet with George Foster, silent auction, dinner, and speakers.

There will also be a live auction where fans can bid on one of kind experiences and memorabilia.

Full tables are for sale for $400 and include 8 tickets, dinner, early meet and greet with George Foster, and one autographed bat.

Individual tickets are also on sale for $35 each.
