Phoenix Rising holding 5k fundraiser on St. Patrick’s Day
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A local non-profit is gearing up for a 5k fundraiser to help victims of human trafficking in the area.
The St. Patrick’s Day 5K will take place at Kereiakes Park in Bowling Green on March 13th at 8 a.m.
The non-profit is working closely with parks and recreation to ensure COVID-19 precautions are in place for the run.
Masks will be required except while running, but runners will start in heats to help with social distancing.
The money raised will go to support Phoenix Rising according to volunteer Halee Friedrich.
