Anna’s Greek Restaurant urges people to not to buy tickets from scammers

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Anna’s Greek Restaurant is taking reservations for Valentine’s Day but beware of people attempting to sell you any form of ticket. 

Scammers are using Facebook attempting to sell people tickets for a reservation but it is part of a scam. Vilson Qehaja, owner of the restaurant is urging people to not buy any of these fraudulent tickets. 

To make a reservation, you must go online through the company website and Open Table. Online, there is a reservation fee to reserve your place, but it all happens electronically. 

Qehaja said he is so frustrated with this scam and hopes that none of his customers will fall for it and miss out on a great Valentine’s Day. 

“I did not want my customers to fall victim to buying tickets from other people where there’s no actual tickets to be sold and ruin people’s Valentine’s. Because one it’s a very special day, they don’t get to come in because I’m at capacity, and two, they paid money that is not legit. So I just want to let our customers know not to get involved in any transactions person to person,” said Qehaja.
