Icy weather slowing down vaccinations in Kentucky
FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Icy weather conditions arriving in Kentucky are delaying vaccinations throughout the state. Gov. Andy Beshear says regional vaccine centers at Kroger stores in Lexington, Covington and Bowling Green would be closed Thursday. The University of Kentucky canceled a coronavirus vaccine clinic Wednesday due to expected inclement weather, and the Louisville vaccination center at Broadbent Arena closed early on Wednesday. The site may also close on Thursday if roads are in poor condition. The National Weather Service says an ice storm warning was in effect for much of Kentucky through Thursday evening.
