Fur Ball would have been Saturday night, donations sought to help animals

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Saturday would have marked the 2021 Hill’s Pet Nutrition Fur Ball presented by German American Bank. But due to the pandemic Saturday’s event was cancelled.

“While our 2021 party had to be delayed, there is no delaying the life-saving efforts of the Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society,” the Humans Society said in a release.

Because of generous support from last year’s event and new fundraising efforts, the BGWCHS was able to remain open and continue to serve the pets of South Central Kentucky throughout the tumultuous year that was 2020.

Now, the organization looks ahead to 2021 without the funding the Fur Ball generates and is asking for the public’s continued generosity.
